Ferrari plans to launch its first pure electric vehicle (EV) model by the end of 2025.

The president of Ferrari’s Far East and Middle East Center said the company will retain three powertrain technologies until at least 2030, including internal combustion engines, hybrids and battery electric vehicles. Despite the fierce market competition, he is satisfied with the company’s performance in the local market and believes that the new product plan will solve future challenges.

At the same time, Ital Auto Malaysia, the official importer of Ferrari, launched two new models: Purosangue and Roma Spider. The Purosangue is the first four-door, four-seater car in the brand’s history, with prices starting from RM5 million. Inheriting the characteristics of the successful Ferrari Roma, the Roma Spider is powered by a V8 engine and is priced from RM3.2 million.

The company also opened its first showroom in the country at Four Seasons Place.
