Go Negosyo launches first Filipino youth entrepreneurship program

Go Negosyo’s “YOUTHPRENEUR” initiative was launched in 17 schools in the capital region, attracting hundreds of high school students to learn entrepreneurial experiences. The event aims to cultivate entrepreneurship among Filipino youth and is supported by the Department of Education (DepEd).

Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion thanked the Ministry of Education for its support and plans to incorporate entrepreneurship training into the primary education curriculum. Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte said YOUTHPRENEUR is a platform that illuminates the path of hope and opportunity for young people.

The event invited speakers such as Angkas CEO George Royeca to share entrepreneurial experiences and provided opportunities for high school students to be matched with mentors.
