The U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) predicts that global semiconductor sales will reach US$588.4 billion in 2024.
According to the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) released by SIA, global annual sales are expected to decline by 9.4% in 2023, but will increase by 13.1% in 2024. According to WSTS data, global semiconductor sales in October 2023 fell by 0.7% year-on-year, but increased by 3.9% month-on-month.
SIA President and CEO John Neuffer said that the global semiconductor market has achieved month-on-month growth for the eighth consecutive time. Sales may decline at the end of 2023, but there will be a strong rebound in 2024, and double-digit growth is expected.
