According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global aviation industry will have a record net profit margin of 2.7 by 2024%。IATA预测2024年行业净利润将达257亿美元，总收入达9640亿美元，同比增长7.6% with a slight improvement in net profit margin.
Passenger traffic is expected to reach 4.7 billion in 2024, up from pre-pandemic levels in 2019, and passenger revenue will increase 12% to $717 billion. North America, Europe and the Middle East lead in net profit in 2023, but the Asia-Pacific region will catch up by 2024.
IATA highlighted that the industry remains challenging, with a net profit margin of 2.7% lower than other industry standards, and recommended a more robust approach to the future.
