XL Axiata, the Indonesian subsidiary of Yatong Group, signed a non-binding agreement with Link Net to strengthen its position in the Indonesian Fixed Broadband (FBB) and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) markets.

The agreement includes the transfer of Link Net’s FBB business, which includes 750,000 customers, to XL Axiata and the roll-out of an additional 2 million new homes through Link Net to provide FBB and FMC services.

According to the CEO of Yatong Group, this partnership will simplify the process of obtaining high-quality FBB and convergence services, which is expected to improve the customer experience.

The binding agreement, which will be implemented in accordance with regulations, marks an important step in the strategic structural transformation of XL Axiata and Link Net in Indonesia.
