Japanese tech company expands Cebu center

Sansan, a Japanese cloud solutions provider, has announced that it will hire up to 100 software developers to expand its Cebu plant to meet global demand. The company plans to have 100 employees by May next year, and currently has nearly 50 software developers.

Jay Pegarido, director of the Sansan Global Development Center, said that the Philippines is a global IT hub with a high level of IT education and excellent engineers. The expanded Cebu plant will support the development of product features for the global market.

This year, Sansan is driving overseas product expansion in Southeast Asia, accelerating the rollout of DX solutions and online invoice receiving solutions in Singapore and Thailand.
