Apple launches next-generation CarPlay aimed at taking over car dashboards. This version provides user interfaces customized by car brands, and the first partners include Aston Martin and Porsche.

This iteration worked closely with automakers, balancing Apple interface expertise with each manufacturer’s brand identity. Aston Martin uses a simple instrument design, while Porsche pays homage to racing history with a three-dial layout. Other partners include Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz and Polestar.

The new CarPlay, which integrates tuned radio and climate control, is expected to launch in 2024. This marks a new breakthrough for Apple in the field of automotive interfaces.
