China State Railway Group announced that the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway has carried more than 1 million passengers since its operation on October 17.

The high-speed rail connects Jakarta and Bandung, shortening the journey to about 40 minutes. Operator PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China increased train services from 14 to 48 daily to meet demand.

The high-speed rail uses Chinese railway systems and technology to improve transportation convenience and promote tourism development. Passengers enjoy convenient and fast travel, which promotes economic improvement and creates more job opportunities for the younger generation.

High-speed rail tickets also provide incentives for free entry to tourist destinations, stimulating local tourism activities.
