The second phase of the Philippine Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project (also known as the Wawa Upstream Dam) is scheduled to be commercially operated by the end of 2025. It is led by WawaJVCo Inc. and the overall project progress has exceeded 70%.

The dam is expected to be completed within a few months and will have a year-round water supply capacity of more than 700 million liters per day, benefiting Metro Manila residents. The project will alleviate flooding problems and is the largest privately led water infrastructure project in the history of the Philippines.

Prime Infra’s president said the company will continue to be committed to sustainable development and ensure that it achieves its goals by 2025 as planned. The first phase of the Wawa Water Supply Project will be commercially operational in October 2022.
