Nvidia has launched the RTX 4090D graphics card adapted to the Chinese market, which is slightly slower than the RTX 4090 version. The number of CUDA cores is 14,592, and the power consumption is reduced to 425W.

Due to US restrictions on exporting chips to China, the RTX 4090 cannot be imported to China, so the RTX 4090D was launched to solve the supply problem of high-end graphics cards. The graphics card is available in China for 12,999 yuan (approximately $1,836) and complies with U.S. government export regulations.

Also due to the RTX 4090’s larger size, Chinese factories have taken the rare step of disassembling and reassembling it into a blower-cooled model to fit the server’s space requirements.
