TCL plans to launch a new line of soundbars in 2024, including high-end Dolby Atmos models, to compete with products from LG, Samsung and Sony.
These speakers will provide enhanced TV audio and music performance and are expected to boost the growth of the soundbar segment. It is predicted that the global sound bar market will expand to US$13.12 billion by 2029.
TCL’s new series includes speakers with different channel configurations, such as S45 (2.0), S55 (2.1), Q75 (5.1.2) and Q85 (7.1.5), supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X.
This move into the high-end speaker market will affect TCL’s competitive position in the TV market.
