BMW’s electric vehicle sales in China are growing strongly

According to the BMW Group, 99,972 BEVs will be sold in the Chinese market in 2023, a year-on-year increase of more than 138%.

China’s demand for new energy vehicles is driving the charging equipment market, with BMW’s charging network covering more than 320 cities with 580,000 public charging piles by the end of the year. By the end of 2023, BMW will build 50 high-power charging stations with a maximum power of 600 kW, covering 17 major cities.

Overall, the BMW Group delivered more than 820,000 BMW and MINI vehicles in China in 2023.
