FedEx uses fdx commerce platform to challenge Amazon

FedEx has launched its data-driven commerce platform “fdx” to meet the needs of merchants to handle cargo fulfillment, unlike what Amazon offers. The platform is designed to help companies drive demand, improve conversion rates, optimize fulfillment and streamline returns.

FedEx President and CEO stated that FDX is the first data-driven commerce platform that connects the entire customer journey, leveraging digital intelligence to help merchants optimize and grow their business through its extensive physical transportation network.

The move is FedEx’s response to Amazon in the freight business, emphasizing its digital transformation and offering end-to-end e-commerce solutions.
