India’s new airline Alcazar Air announced its order for 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and plans to launch international operations. This is an important order for Boeing, especially as the 737 MAX series faces strict scrutiny.

Alcazar’s CEO said the “historic” order would make the company one of the world’s leading airlines. Despite recent problems with Alaska Airlines’ 737 MAX 9 aircraft, the order does not include that model.

India is the third largest buyer of aircraft after China and the United States, showing exponential growth potential. The Indian government plans to order 1,200 to 1,400 aircraft by 2028 to accelerate the development of the air travel market.
