State venture capital firms hold a lot of cash, but investment in quantum computing has fallen by 80%。相比之下,欧洲风投呈现3% especially in terms of quantum ecosystems.

A report published by Finland’s IQM, venture capital firm OpenOcean and Lakestar analyzes quantum startups’ investments, government funding, and national strategies. European countries have generally developed national quantum strategies, and the EU also plans to become a “quantum valley”.

The report notes that to succeed in quantum computing, investors need to demonstrate the vision to invest successfully in companies such as Intel, Arm, and Nvidia. Quantum technology currently attracts only 1% of total venture capital, but with the expected growth of the global quantum computing market, the first mover could see huge returns.
