Four memorandums of understanding were signed in Melbourne during Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s official visit to Australia. These include two new memorandums on technology cooperation and cybersecurity, as well as two renewable memorandums in sports and higher education.

Anwar said the memorandum marked progress in relations between the two parties and emphasized the success of the meeting. Australian Prime Minister Albanese said the memorandum will promote data sharing, capacity building and nuclear non-proliferation, and strengthen cooperation on cybersecurity.
