Nvidia spends RM3.3 billion to acquire Israeli AI unicorn

Nvidia will acquire Israeli AI startup Run:ai for US$700 million (approximately RM3.3 billion).

Run:ai is a startup developing an artificial intelligence infrastructure management platform. The move is seen as Nvidia’s largest acquisition in Israel since it acquired Mellanox for US$6.9 billion (approximately RM32.9 billion) in 2019. The transaction is expected to close in the coming days.

Run:ai previously conducted Series C financing in March 2022, raising US$75 million (approximately RM357 million), led by Tiger Global Management and Insight Partners.
