Qualcomm announced the launch of Snapdragon X Plus, equipped with Qualcomm Oryon CPU, which performs 37% faster than competitors and reduces power consumption by 54%. Based on the GeekBench 2024 test results, this CPU design significantly improves mobile computing efficiency and can complete 45 trillion operations per second, making it the world’s fastest laptop NPU.
New features include code generation in Visual Studio Code, music creation in Audacity, and real-time subtitles in OBS Studio. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are expected to launch devices powered by Snapdragon X Plus from mid-2024.
