SK Hynix announced that it has started mass production of its next-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chip HBM3E for artificial intelligence chipsets, and the first batch of shipments will be delivered to Nvidia. The chip improves heat dissipation performance by 10% and can process up to 1.18 TB of data per second.

SK Hynix’s HBM production capacity is fully booked in 2024 as demand for artificial intelligence chipsets surges. Analysts pointed out that SK Hynix already has an absolute position in the market and expects its high-end memory chip sales growth to be the most positive.

Nvidia also released its flagship artificial intelligence chip B200 to maintain its leadership in the industry. SK Hynix’s share price has doubled in the past year, benefiting from its leading position in HBM chips.
