Amazon announced the launch of the “AI Ready” program to train 2 million people around the world in AI for free by 2025.
The program offers eight new free courses, including adults improving AI and generative AI skills, partnering with Udacity to launch the AWS Generative AI Scholarship Program, partnering with Code.org to help students learn about generative AI.
According to the vice president of Amazon Web Services (AWS), AI is one of the most transformative technologies, and the goal is to level the playing field for AI education.
Amazon also plans to expand free AI training programs and courses to remove cost barriers to acquiring these critical skills.
