According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch new iPads in early May, including an iPad Pro with an OLED display and a faster iPad Air, including a 12.9-inch model for the first time.
The new iPad Pro will be equipped with an M3 chip and a redesigned Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. The iPad Air will run on a new processor, likely the M2. The 12.9-inch screen option will be the first large-screen option available in the iPad Air series. This will be the cheapest way to get an extra-large iPad screen.
Apple’s release schedule has been pushed back to address issues in device software and new manufacturing technology.
