Tesla may start selling Optimus robot by the end of 2025

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Tesla’s humanoid robot is still in the laboratory stage and may be launched as soon as the end of next year. Companies are optimistic about the potential of such robots to solve labor shortages and perform repetitive tasks such as logistics, warehousing and manufacturing.

Musk expects Tesla’s robot Optimus Prime to be performing tasks at the factory by the end of the year. Other companies such as Honda, Hyundai, Microsoft and Boston Dynamics are also developing humanoid robots. Musk believes Tesla is well-positioned in the field of robotics and can achieve mass production through effective reasoning.
