Huawei Malaysia is committed to bridging the urban-rural digital divide, promoting digital innovation, and building a sustainable ultra-broadband industry ecosystem to ensure that everyone benefits. Zac Chow, Vice President of Huawei’s Malaysian Carrier Business, said that Huawei continues to innovate, use green information and communications technology (ICT) to empower development, and contribute to building a better green and smart world. He said during the Malaysian ICT Summit that carbon neutrality has become a global consensus, but at the same time power generation must be increased to achieve digital transformation goals.

Therefore, Huawei’s goal is to bring digitalization to everyone in a sustainable way and build a fully connected, smart Malaysia. He emphasized that Huawei, as a leading ICT solution provider, is committed to playing a role in infrastructure and ecosystem construction to ensure Malaysia’s position in the ASEAN digital field.

The theme of the 2023 Malaysia ICT Summit is “Digital Malaysia, Green Growth”, which aims to promote ICT innovation and infrastructure development and bring opportunities for sustainable digital economic growth and industrial upgrading. The summit, hosted by Huawei Technologies (M) Ltd., attracted participation from professionals, business leaders and ecosystem partners from various fields in the ICT industry.
