Malaysian Airlines provides free unlimited WiFi from November 1, 2023

Malaysia Airlines announced that it will provide free in-flight WiFi service on selected wide-body aircraft from November 1, 2023, covering all cabin classes and loyalty levels. A few months ago they have provided free WiFi service with 100MB traffic and 512kbps download speed for business class, rich platinum members and economy class upgrades. For other upgrades, WiFi data plans can be purchased, ranging in price from $2/10MB/200kbps to $25/200MB/512kbps.

Starting in November, all passengers (including Economy Class passengers who are not Enrich members) will have access to free unlimited in-flight WiFi when consuming a pay-per-use WiFi plan. Currently, the following Malaysia Airlines aircraft can use free WiFi service: Airbus A350-900 (6 aircraft), Airbus A330-300 (9 aircraft), Airbus A330-200 (5 aircraft).

Malaysia Airlines Group founder Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi said they are committed to providing a seamless and enjoyable journey experience, allowing passengers in all cabin classes to benefit from free WiFi services. In addition, passengers can keep their personal devices turned on during the flight and apply for an invitation to flight mode.sheetbottom of box
