The Proton Saga remains the most popular model, with 6,322 units sold in October, bringing the year-to-date sales total to 57,806 units, exceeding the total for all of 2022. Other models such as Proton X70, Iriz and Persona also showed steady growth. Overall sales are expected to grow by 12.3% in 2023, and Proton sales may reach approximately 158,000 units by the end of the year.

Proton Edar CEO Roslan Abdullah said the company has benefited from market conditions and expressed confidence in the future, with plans to launch more new models to create a good start in 2024.
