Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) partners with Chargeplus to promote cross-border electric vehicle charging

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has entered into a partnership with Chargeplus Sdn Bhd (Charge+) to explore a cross-border roaming platform to connect customers to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Malaysia and Singapore.

Charge+ is a subsidiary of Charge+ Pte Ltd, Southeast Asia’s leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions. The memorandum of understanding (MOU), signed at the TNB Energy Conference in August 2023, aims to develop a cross-border electric vehicle charging infrastructure network in line with the national energy transition roadmap objectives.

TNB President and CEO Baharin said that the strategic cooperation will be integrated into the vast charging station network until 2030, allowing TNB Electron charging station application (GO TO-U) and Charge+ users to conveniently access the charging assets of both companies. , providing a more convenient cross-border charging experience. ​
