The Peugeot E-2008 will enter the Malaysian market next year, revealed by Stellantis chief operating officer Daniel Gonzalez.

Peugeot previewed the E-2008 at the Malaysian Motor Show in 2023, but decided to release the facelift the same week, making the electric car available in new form in 2024. The facelift model is equipped with a larger 54kWh battery and an electric motor with increased power to 115kW (154hp), increasing the WLTP rated range from 345 kilometers to 406 kilometers.

The standard 7.4kW on-board AC charger takes about 4 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%. An optional 11kW onboard three-phase AC charger can further shorten charging times, while supporting DC fast charging up to 100kW, reducing charging time from 20% to 80% to 30 minutes.
