6.4 million South Korean Hyundai vehicles recalled in U.S.

Reuters reported that on November 20, U.S. auto safety regulators said they had launched investigations into 16 recalls issued by Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, involving 6.4 million vehicles related to brake fluid leakage. These vehicles may have leaked brake fluid. There is a problem of brake fluid leakage, which can easily lead to fires.

Since 2016, the Korean automaker in question has issued a series of recalls over issues with anti-lock brake systems (ABS) and hydraulic electronic control units (HECU) produced by the same parts supplier.
