Phil-Tower Consortium (PhilTower) is using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve operations and increase energy efficiency of the towers it acquired from Globe Telecom Inc.
PhilTower CEO David Gubbiani said PhilTower will launch its network in partnership with data intelligence platform PowerX to raise infrastructure management and performance standards to provide partners with excellent services.
PowerX will provide support with business process automation and power system optimization expertise to detect operational inefficiencies and enable faster remediation responses.
PhilTower chief operating officer PT Pawar said the partnership highlights their regional leadership in leveraging deep data, AI and machine learning analytics to improve network efficiency.
In September last year, PhilTower signed a sale and leaseback agreement with Globe for 1,350 towers worth 20 billion pesos. So far, 810 towers have been transferred.
