On November 26, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah said that my country’s crude palm oil exports to India continued to show positive development, and India’s demand for crude palm oil increased to 6 million tons.

Fadillah, who is also the Minister of Plantation and Commodity Products, revealed that currently our country can only export about 4 million tons to this country, and India is already the largest importer of Malaysian crude palm oil.

“We cannot sell all our crude palm oil to just one country, so it must also be assessed. India has asked us to increase (exports) to 6 million tons and we are detailing (the steps).”
