AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) signed an aircraft leasing agreement with AirAsia Capital Bhd to lease an aircraft for one year with a total value of approximately RM30.54 million.
AirAsia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital A Bhd. The new aircraft are identical to AAX’s existing fleet, enabling a smooth transition.
According to filings with Bursa Malaysia, the transactions will have no material financial impact on the company and subsidiaries for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023, and will not affect AAX’s share capital and substantial shareholder holdings.
