Proton Holdings Bhd sold 12,296 units in November, bringing sales in the first 11 months of 2023 to 141,900 units, exceeding full-year 2022 sales. A year-on-year increase of 12%, the market share reached 19.7%.
Proton S70 has more than 900 weekly bookings, with total bookings reaching 3,000. Total sales of Proton X series (X50, X70 and X90) reached 201,710 units. 2,115 units of the X50 SUV have been sold, with total sales reaching 102,325 units. P series models (Persona, Iriz, Exora, Saga) increased by 34.3% year-on-year. Proton Saga has the highest sales volume with 6,349 units sold in November, maintaining its enduring popularity.
Proton’s CEO said the company is confident of delivering to customers before the end of the year and expects to achieve excellent results this year.
