Petronas signed a production sharing contract for Blocks 63 and 64 in Suriname

Petronas Suriname E&P BV, a subsidiary of Petronas, has signed a production sharing contract with Suriname Petroleum and Gold Company for Blocks 63 and 64 in Surinan.

Petronas Suriname E&P won the two blocks located in the Guyana-Suriname Basin in 2023. Petronas Suriname E&P has a 100 participation interest in Block 63 and is %参与权益,并是运营商,64号区块由TotalEnergies运营,其参与权益为40% the rest is divided equally between Petronas Suriname E&P and QatarEnergy.

The two blocks are located 200 km and 250 km offshore Suriname, respectively, with water depths of 1,700 m and 1,300 m respectively. Petronas said it will work with partners to unlock the resource potential of the Suriname Basin.
