Saudi companies and Sunview are eyeing renewable energy investments

Malaysia’s Sunview Group Bhd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s International Trade Consulting Vision Ambassadors to invest in renewable and green energy. Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, wholly owned by Sunview, will be responsible for the EPCC activities of the potential project. The two companies will jointly identify the project location and become the main investors.

Sunview chief executive officer Ong Hang Ping said the company plans to look for additional opportunities in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia to expand its geographic footprint. He noted that renewable energy is critical to achieving the global net-zero carbon emissions goal and is optimistic about future cooperation.

The Chairman of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Datuk Suhai Mi Shahadan, witnessed the signing of the MoU.
