The Malaysian government has partnered with Intel Malaysia to launch the “AI Untuk Rakyat” initiative, which aims to bridge the digital literacy gap. Launched by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in partnership with the Prime Minister, the program aims to provide students and communities with basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and attract them into the field.

The Economy Minister said that this will provide people with a basic understanding of AI and make up for the lack of technical knowledge in the digital world. The managing director of Intel Malaysia highlighted artificial intelligence as a key driver of the economy and called on people to participate in programs to enhance the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the digital age.

AI Untuk Rakyat is an online self-study program that provides an interactive learning experience through two parts: AI Aware and AI Appreciation.
