Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Liew Chin Tung said the government aims to build Malaysia into a high-end manufacturing and service industry destination to attract more foreign and domestic investment.

He emphasized that Malaysian factories can produce high-end products such as semiconductors and provide top-notch services and regional headquarters services. Encourage companies to actively participate in international exhibitions, especially the China International Import Expo, to promote substantive cooperation through exhibitions, strengthen connections between Malaysian and Chinese enterprises, and promote trade relations.

In the field of high-end manufacturing and services, government and private entities need to strengthen integration, improve regulations, and propose policies and legal frameworks that will help Malaysian and Chinese enterprises.
