YTL PowerSeraya, a subsidiary of YTL Power International, has received the first RFI to build a 600 MW hydrogen combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) at the Siraya Island Power Station.

The project involves an investment of S$800 million (RM2.82 billion) and is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The move is to ensure that Singapore has sufficient power generation capacity to meet future energy needs by 2028.

CCGT will demonstrate its commitment to environmentally sustainable practices by working with low-carbon energy sources such as solar to build a power mix.
