Sabah aims to attract 3 million foreign tourists this year

Tourism Minister Christine Liew said the target of 2.8 to 3 million tourists is planned to be achieved by working with agencies, including the introduction of international flights and the Sabah My Second Home programme. At the same time, she will visit Western countries to explore the possibility of direct flights to Sabah. More Chinese tourists are expected to arrive by the end of March this year.

The minister thanked the media for their cooperation and called on them to publish verified and true news. She also revealed that the newly established Sabah Convention Bureau and My Second Home program will begin operations this year.
