Xinbang Yongxing, the Malaysian subsidiary of Chinese packaging film manufacturer Zhejiang Xinbang Technology, has established its first overseas manufacturing plant in Ipoh, Perak, focusing on the production of solar cell packaging films.
The plant has an initial capacity of 85 million square meters and is expected to expand to 300 million square meters to meet demand of approximately 10 GW to 30 GW. This investment has been recognized and supported by the Perak State Government and will create approximately 300 jobs and promote local economic growth and development.
The investment is in line with Perak’s development agenda and is valued and supported by the Perak Investment Authority.
