Capital Markets Malaysia (CMM) assists small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in raising capital and preparing for future growth through its Upgrade Programme, supported by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia.
The program focuses on helping companies meet governance requirements, develop innovative thinking, and strengthen business models. SC Executive Chairman Dr Awang Adek Hussin said SMEs are vital to the economy and the Elevate program is designed to support businesses looking to grow, raise capital or go public.
Fully funded by the government, the program covers topics such as design thinking, branding, marketing and ESG considerations to support the needs and progress of Malaysian businesses.
