Human Resources Minister Sim Chee Keong said the government is committed to helping start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises by providing matching subsidies for industrial training. The program aims to increase employer participation in developing the country’s youth talent pool and will help strengthen industrial training for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The LiKES grant supports training lasting up to six months and is available to SMEs and start-ups registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
