Neways, the main supplier of Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML, will set up a new factory in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, and is expected to start service production in the fourth quarter of 2024.
This will further strengthen the company’s global presence, providing design, prototyping, production and repair services to customers. The new factory will focus on the development and production of advanced modules and cabinets for well-known semiconductor industry customers, and plans to expand the number of employees to 200.
Neways has factories in Europe, the United States and Asia, and the move will allow it to establish a strategic position in Southeast Asia to meet global customer needs and drive business expansion in the region.
