The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Go Negosyo agreed to strengthen cooperation to promote the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual and Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion pledged at the meeting to adjust development plans and initiatives for MSMEs, including programs such as KMME and OTOP, as well as entrepreneurial mentoring roadshows and other initiatives.

Concepcion said Go Negosyo will fully support DTI with the goal of providing funds, markets and guidance to small, medium and micro enterprises. DTI will continue to support Go Negosyo and collaborate as the project expands to provinces.

The two sides discussed specific milestones for the KMME program, an entrepreneurial mentorship program that has been completed by nearly 13,000 businesses, making it a key program in promoting the development of small businesses in the Philippines.
