EVlution Sdn Bhd has launched electric vehicle charging stations at the RHB Center and plans to deploy 2,000 charging stations nationwide by 2025 to increase the penetration rate of electric vehicles.

Transport Minister Loke Siu-fu said the national energy transformation roadmap aims to establish 10,000 charging stations by 2025, create jobs for green transportation and promote investment in sustainable energy technologies.

Dr. Wang Chaojie, CEO of EVlution, said that the company is committed to using renewable energy and plans to conduct a fifth round of solar project bidding this year. Private sector investment and participation will be critical to achieving this goal, which hopes to increase EV adoption and reduce carbon emissions and oil use.
