Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil revealed that he had met with Starlink’s Rebecca Hunter at the MWC 2024 Malaysia Pavilion and proposed that Starlink set up an office in Malaysia to provide more convenient services.
He also discussed the possibility of partnering with Telekom Malaysia to provide users with direct-to-mobile services. Fahmi said he is also discussing more interesting aspects, including the possibility of satellite communications communicating directly with mobile phones.
