Political stability, forward-looking economic policies and green transformation bring golden opportunities to the country’s economy.

Liu Zhendong, deputy minister of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, pointed out that competition between China and the United States has attracted investment to Southeast Asia, and Malaysia’s attractiveness has significantly improved. He said Malaysia, with its high-quality logistics, fair legal framework and well-educated multilingual workers, was an opportunity to make the second leap.

Liew added that there was no need to compete with neighboring countries as Malaysia’s economy was already quite strong, but it might be wiser to cooperate with Vietnam and Indonesia to avoid lowering workers’ wages.
