Selangor Madani Entrepreneur Fund launched, providing assistance up to RM30,000

The Selangor state government has launched the Selangor Madani Entrepreneurship Fund (DUMS) to provide assistance of up to RM30,000 to small businesses. ​

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the fund has expanded its scope of assistance to help micro, small and medium enterprises (PMKS) in various sectors as well as creative industries. He emphasized that the goal of DUMS is to improve the competitiveness of small entrepreneurs and ensure that they receive wider support. To date, DUMS has provided assistance totaling RM20.06 million to 1,029 micro-entrepreneurs.

This year the government also launched a business equipment assistance of up to RM30,000, and residents of Selangor are eligible to apply.
