Solarvest to install solar power systems at more than 300 Petronas stations by 2027

Solarvest Energy Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Solarvest Holdings Bhd, has been appointed by Gentari Renewables Sdn Bhd to install solar power systems at more than 300 Petronas stations in Malaysia by 2027, marking an important milestone in Malaysia’s energy transformation.

The project is expected to offset approximately 5,035 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. Davis Chong Chun Shiong, CEO of Solarvest, said the move demonstrates the potential of solar energy to reduce carbon emissions from the retail fuel business, demonstrating the importance of renewable energy solutions to sustainable development.
