Iskandar Waterfront Holdings (IWH) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PLS Plantations Bhd and Shenzhen Shenyue United Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. (SIHC), to jointly develop the Johor- Shenzhen Industrial Park and Innovation Center Project.
The MoU aims to enhance the international competitiveness of Johor’s industries and formulate development strategies to promote the development of emerging industries. The industrial park is expected to be one of the largest purpose-built fully integrated industrial estates in Johor, providing offices and production facilities for businesses. The move will accelerate the development of Johor’s industry and attract regional high-tech enterprises.
