SME Bank has provided RM30.6 billion in financing

The SME Bank has approved more than RM30.6 billion in financing to 17,380 bumiputra micro, small and medium enterprises, including bumiputera schemes and other financing facilities.

President and CEO Datuk Dr Alia Putra Ismail said the bank’s financing plans include the i-SMART programme, which costs RM180 million and focuses on the growth of Bumiputera enterprises. He stressed that the bank is aligned with government initiatives to empower indigenous businesses and promote economic transformation.

The bank also supports the development of indigenous enterprises by improving corporate export and supplier competitiveness through the Business Export Program (BEP) and Supplier Capacity Development Program.
